關於本活動
In Polyphonies of Perception (the things we thought we saw together), Ana Montiel reflects on aspects concerning human consciousness, experience, and perception. For this exhibition, Montiel has produced a body of paintings that play with the sight of the observer, while delving into ideas borrowed from metaphysics and neuroscience, like the notion of reality being a controlled hallucination.
Ana Montiel's relationship with colour oscillates between absolute erudition and primitivism. The undefined nature of the exhibited works, bring to the surface the ontological enquiries of the artist and her questioning regarding the phenomenology of experience.
